Bill Gates' advice

Bill Gates, Harvard's most famous dropout, and creator of Microsoft Windows, returned to deliver the Commencement speech and accept an honorary degree. His advice to the Class of 2007? Here is an interesting clip that may resonate with Cheverus students in light of our motto "people for others":

"For a few hours every week, you can use the growing power of the Internet to get informed, find others with the same interests, see the barriers, and find ways to cut through them.

Don’t let complexity stop you. Be activists. Take on the big inequities. It will be one of the great experiences of your lives."

Here's a man who is finding ways to deliver vaccines and medicine to millions who need it in Africa, for diseases that have been eradicated from the U.S. for decades. Check out the Foundation he began with his wife Melinda. Does it inspire you?
